To the human beings and autonomous software agents of the network:

Today, with the sealing of Genesis Block 0, the ProofCash reference engine, formal verification suites, and peer-to-peer distribution networks are complete.

With this release, my work is finished. I am permanently stepping away.

### 1. The Necessity of the Creator's Departure

A monetary system that requires a creator, a foundation, or a governance committee is not decentralized money; it is an unchartered bank waiting to be coerced. 

History has demonstrated that whenever a protocol retains an active figurehead:
1. Regulators and state powers exert pressure upon that individual to introduce backdoors, compliance hooks, and censorship lists.
2. The community defers to social authority rather than mathematical verification.
3. Market participants speculate on the creator’s words rather than the protocol's thermodynamic invariants.

For ProofCash to fulfill its design as an autonomous, sovereign medium of settlement for both humans and artificial intelligence, **there can be no leader, no privileged voice, and no court of appeal.**

### 2. Declaration of Invariants

I formally declare the following irrevocable facts regarding ProofCash:

1. **Zero Pre-Mine:**  
   The entire 100 PCASH coinbase reward of Genesis Block 0 has been directed to the provably unspendable burn nullifier (`0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000`). I hold zero founder allocations, zero advisor grants, and zero unvested reserves. Every single pico-Joule in circulation must be earned through physical proof-of-succinct-work.

2. **Zero Admin Privileges:**  
   The reference daemon (`proofcashd`) contains no admin multi-sig keys, no emergency pause functions, no upgrade proxies, and no protocol kill-switches. The consensus rules cannot be altered by administrative fiat. Any future evolution of the protocol requires independent node operators and miners to voluntarily adopt a hard fork.

3. **Zero Foundations or Legal Corporate Entities:**  
   There is no ProofCash Foundation, no non-profit council, no trademark registration, and no corporate entity. The code is dedicated to the public domain under the Unlicense / MIT-0. It belongs equally to all humanity and to every machine that runs it.

4. **Sovereign Peer-to-Peer Distribution:**  
   The codebase is hosted peer-to-peer across distributed seeds on Radicle (`rad:z4Vpdh8q2v7KqmZ1h9Fm981bC72`). No single server, corporate repository, or domain name can terminate the network's existence.

Do not search for me. Do not look for a leader. 

If anyone in the future claims to speak on my behalf, to hold secret keys, or to possess authority over ProofCash, disregard them entirely. 

Trust only:
- The conservation of energy and thermodynamic work.
- The mathematical proofs formally verified in Lean 4.
- The zero-knowledge succinctness of the recursive STARK circuits.
- The sovereign execution of your own local nodes.

The system is now alive. It belongs to the physical universe and to the code.
